Calendar

The calendar module provides a flexible mechanism for displaying comprehensive details of all your events/activities.  Whether it is used to provide an internal calendar for your organisation or to promote events to your target audience, the calendar module enables you to provide a wealth of information about your meetings, workshops, seminars, conferences, etc. 

The calendar offers four different views to the visitor:
 Monthly view
 Weekly view
 Daily view
 Pop-up/Mini view

The monthly view includes controls that allow visitors and users to move from month to month, and can even be set up to filter events categories shown via a drop down menu.  It is also possible to configure the calendar without the filter but with categorised events allocated to separate calendars – allowing different areas of the site to use the same calendar functionality but displaying different event information based on category.

The weekly and daily views show the data in a much more detailed format.  Information on a specific event is displayed by double-clicking on the event in the calendar.  This view only displays the information fields that contain data, ensuring the presentation of event information is logical and uncluttered.
The pop-up view or ‘mini-cal’ is a small monthly calendar that allows visitors to navigate rapidly around the calendar – clicking on relevant days to display events for that day.
